- Charney Poetry Festival - For 5th graders to recite poetry. The Festival is held at the Mary Glass Performing Arts Center (MGPAC).
What we did: Arts and Humanities Council of Owasso, Inc. has been providing volunteers for the Charney Poetry Festival at the Owasso Performing Arts Center
since its inception.
How you can help: Contact Barbara Barnes at the Owasso Library, 591-4566, to volunteer at the event by setting up, timing performances, evaluating the performances, serving refreshments, or donating refreshments or funds
- "Art in the Park" - free summer concert series held in the evenings at the Gazebo on Owasso Expressway just north of the YMCA. Friends and family are welcome.
- Owasso Summer Arts - 2 week class held at MGPAC for children K-5th grade.
What we did: The Arts and Humanities Council of Owasso, Inc. and Owasso Public Schools jointly created Owasso Summer Arts to encourage the love and knowledge of art in all its forms. Since the program’s inception in 2002, students have lived as primitive peoples, rocketed to outer space, and will be making music this summer. The two week, half-day holistic arts camp for grades kindergarten through fifth aims to awaken a life-long interest in art.
How you can help: Contact Todd Murray at Owasso Performing Arts Center, 274-3420, to be a guest artist, refreshment server, teacher-aide, or to donate funds for art supplies to scholarships for deserving students.

- Owasso Community Theatre
What we did: The Arts and Humanities Council of Owasso, Inc. took the suggestion of a visitor at a Board of Directors meeting and with the support of Owasso Public Schools, set up a community meeting to gauge interest in the creation of a community theater. Over seventy individuals attended the first meeting held in the summer of 2003. AHCO provided an initial investment of less than two hundred dollars which led to the creation of an entirely separate 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation! The community theater performed its first play, William Inge’s Pulitzer Prize winning play, Picnic, in September 2003.

- Timmy & Cindy Program - Statue Unveiling
What we did: The Arts and Humanities Council of Owasso, Inc. was asked by the City of Owasso to help select locations for public works of art and to help select which bronze castings would be placed at each location. The AHCO provided publicity information and spoke at the initial fundraising dinner and at the unveiling ceremony.
How you can help: Contact Marcia Boutwell at the Owasso Museum, 272-4966, to purchase a casting
- Annual Timmy and Cindy Gala - "Owasso rolls out the Red Carpet for a Night of Ritz and Glitz."
